The dark side of light pollution - its negative effects on migratory birds are beginning to be more widely recognized, but what about pollinators, predators, marine ecosystems, even the air we breathe? Come learn about the current research, conservation efforts and citizen-science opportunities! In partnership with Tracy Aviary, Jess Cleeves of the Utah chapter of the International Dark Sky Association will be enlightening us as to the many ways that artificial light at night influences everything from wildlife behavior to air quality.
